4:30 pm Yoga for Teen Girls

The adolescent years are a time of important development, but they bring with them some unique challenges. You’re going through physical and emotional changes, feeling social pressures, trying to meet others’ expectations, and figuring out who you really are! This might leave you feeling stressed, anxious, overwhelmed, confused, or all of the above. Practicing yoga can help you navigate these emotions, build your confidence, and develop resilience. This class is especially designed for teen girls to find comfort in a nonjudgmental, noncompetitive, supportive environment. We will focus on breathing and movement, while developing balance, flexibility, and strength of the body and mind.
