I absolutely love what I do, and enjoy staying on my path as a Self Healing Educator, Massage Therapist & Bodyworker. I am so grateful for those that cross my path. I realize that my path may not link up with others but with those that it does, it is essential that I honor my lungs. Not many may know this, but as a child I remember oxygen tents clearly. I wasn’t the girl in a plastic bubble, but experienced my fair share of them. Asthma for me is induced by a variety of things from exercise, to dust, to a chemical, scent, food, even too much laughter can spark an attack (this really sucks, bc I love to laugh), so I have worked very hard with my lungs to maintain some kind of ability of a normal life.
I am not asking for pity or sympathy,
but simple respect at my home space, that I have opened to offer something that I love and have made it my life.
Not many realize how much Massage Therapist & Body Workers are breathed on during their offerings and simple colds can cause down time for us.
I say a lot of times you will get more body mind education in our sessions than you would at ‘some’ doctor offices so maintaining my commitment to each person is vital. This is where healthy boundaries are established and respected.
With this, I am clarifying my policies & boundaries on our time together.

Updated Policies for Holistic Services

Time is essential and I value quality time for self-care during your holistic services. 5 minutes of time before and after each session is built into the rates to allow for consultation, changing, and transition time. Please be respectful of the allotted time by arriving 5 minutes before your session and leaving no later than 5 minutes after your session. Sessions that begin late will end at the regularly scheduled time and the full rate will be charged.

In order to cover administrative fees and rising credit card rates, and to honor limited time set aside for Wholistic Sessions & Workshops, the following refund policy applies to all Wholistic Appointments & Workshops:

  • Cancellations before 24 Hours of appointment - 100% Refund

  • 48 hour notice is required to cancel for refund of prepaid workshops.

Wholistic Sessions
DATE:  May 17 - Notice to LMBTs RE: Executive Order No. 215

* Private businesses may also require face coverings and not be in violation of the Governor Cooper’s EO 215.

CDC guidelines issued May 13, 2021 and Governor Cooper’s Executive Order 215 issued May 14, 2021 have relaxed the mandate to wear face coverings (masks). The CDC considers massage and bodywork therapy to be health care and Governor Cooper’s Order still requires face coverings in health care settings. Licensed massage and bodywork therapists (LMBTs) provide health care services to the citizens of North Carolina. LMBTs are still required to wear masks when providing massage and bodywork therapy services.

Rule .0510 provides an LMBT may refuse to provide massage and bodywork therapy services to any client they choose. This Rule would allow LMBTs to refuse treatment should LMBTs be concerned about their safety or the safety of their client.
