Maktub Thursday

Maktub Thursday! It is about recognizing your path. All the good and bad that has happened to you is just that. Good and bad. Good and really inconvenient. Inconvenient to your wants. And let me tell you…. some of the inconveniences, straight up suck.

We don’t deserve the traumas. We don’t deserve betrayals. We don’t deserve pity.
The sadness in our joints.
Guess what. We don’t deserve the happiest of happiness. The bliss of all the bliss.

But healthy. YES!!!! Aging Gracefully? That sounds totally attainable these days.

So Maktub!
Arabic for “Your path is written”. Introduced to me by Paulo Coehlo in his book the Alchemist.
I freaking love this book!
We look and look and we always return back home to ourcells/selves. Everything is just another distraction that we can either get lost in or remember that it has been put on our path to remind us of our inner home.
Our path. What is your exact purpose?

Thursdays reflection in our classes is really about honoring our lives. The convenient things and the inconveniences. So join us to make the best of it:)
